Descrizione
Cresce fino a una lunghezza di circa 22 cm. Le prime fasi di sviluppo avvengono in mare prima che le larve si spostino negli estuari. Ritornano in mare come subadulti.
Diffusione
Si trova nell'Indo-Pacifico occidentale dall'Africa orientale e sud-orientale, attraverso India, Malesia e Indonesia fino alla Cina meridionale e all'Australia settentrionale. Vivono sul fondale marino fino a profonditŕ di circa 90 m.
